About us

Dr. Ottavio V. Vitolo is a board-certified psychiatrist and neuropsychiatrist with specialized expertise in the evaluation and treatment of complex neuropsychiatric conditions.

He completed his psychiatry residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and Washington University in St. Louis, followed by a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), in affiliation with Harvard Medical School. He also holds a Master of Medical Sciences (MMSc) in Translational Medicine from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Vitolo has been in clinical practice since 2008, focusing on individuals navigating challenging psychiatric and neurological conditions. He currently serves as an attending neuropsychiatrist at MGH and as a Lecturer in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Vitolo has extensive experience in clinical research across both academic and biopharmaceutical settings. He has held senior leadership roles in neuroscience drug development, led clinical trials for innovative treatments in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders, and contributed to the advancement of novel therapies aimed at improving patient outcomes.
